This lock is fitted to an Mid 18th Century building in Whitwell near Hitchin
The spring had broken stopping the latch from returning and threatening to get stuck.
I looked though the box of parts from the van and found a spring that fitted just right.

My customer was impressed and asked me to look at another old lock, when I removed this lock I recognized that I had a few of these locks back at my office. So next week I will return and make a working lock from the spares. I have also been asked to open a Chubb Mortice lock and Fit 2 new Mortice deadbolts.#oldlocks #lovemyjob
